 In Sorata you can find the local GUIDE ASSOCIATION just off the plaza opposite Residencial Sorata. They offer a simple service for treks and you can hire equipment there if needed.
Prices are Bs. 250 per day for two persons including one mule if needed. This does not include food. It is best to go shopping with the guide.
They also organize porters and mules. Only a few speak English.
